About

Anderson Signs, in Omaha, NE, was opened for business by Bob Anderson in 1971. In the beginning, we brush painted signs, windows, and cars. Bob's son and now president of the business, John Anderson, joined the business in 1984, and soon began learning the then-new technology of cutting vinyl lettering. Today, virtually all of the signs and graphics produced by Anderson Signs are created using cut vinyl. As computer graphics technology has developed, vinyl has become the medium of choice for sign makers everywhere due to its workability and colorfast properties, as well as the availability of hundreds of specialized finishes. Today's vinyl graphics provide the customer with the same level of detail as painted signs at a fraction of the cost.

But despite all of the technology, signs are still only as good as their designer, and this is what sets Anderson Signs apart from the average sign company. While many sign companies are only a few years old, our business has been in continuous service since Bob first opened the doors in 1971. We know what looks good and what doesn't. We know layout, color and effect. In other words, we know a lot of things about sign making that only experience can provide.

At Anderson Signs, it is our goal to provide you with the highest quality graphics products at a reasonable price. We are a full service sign shop. Of course we do the standard stuff like lettering trucks & fleet vehicles, making flat signs and lettering windows, but we also provide several other options for presenting graphics.

Often, your graphics must be more versatile than permanent signs. Anderson Signs can make banners in any size out of several different grades of paper and vinyl, so you can bring your sign with you. We also make magnetic signs, which are easily placed and removed from your vehicle. This provides small businesses with a way to turn any personal vehicle into a "fleet" vehicle.

At Anderson Signs, we have a big advantage over many other graphics design stores. We've been in business for over 25 years. Not 25 years combined staff experience, 25 years of business. This means that if you ask us to help you with something unusual, we've probably done something similar before. We started in the days when signs were painted by hand. We led the way into the vinyl graphics phase, and are now expanding into the digital imaging field to answer our customers' need to display their graphics in both virtual and real world environments.
